I am an Australian writer, writing from beautiful South Australia, where it is hot when the northern hemisphere is cold.

I like cooking. That dish in the picture is a delicious plastic microwave cover which has melted into what had been going to be my dinner. That is what happens when you dial up 80 minutes instead of 8 minutes, and then smell burning in the kitchen.

I also love puzzles, and over the years I have been forced to remove them from my computer. The picture of Bubbles which you see is one of a game which I loaded up just for you. In the interests of getting anything done today, I have already uninstalled it from my phone.

Sudoku is another weakness, and every morning I do Wordle, for which I have a 100% win rate. If this changes, I will update this website page. Or die in shame, whichever happens first.

Finally, of course, I love Australia. I was brought up on an Australian farm and I have travelled extensively in the outback. I lived in the US for some years but I returned. I hope you enjoy my Aussie Guards series which is set in the beautiful Adelaide Hills of South Australia.
